Artist Statement

My artwork explores the evolving relationship between identity and environment. I document the places I’ve been and creatures that inspire me with acrylic paint. On handcrafted canvas, I bring to life smooth blends and various textures inspired by ones found in the American West. Through this interplay of my personal narrative and exploration of environment, I aim to depict the unique beauty found in our earth, and encourage responsibility to preserve it.
